With all of the free server transfers that are active right now, I wanted to ask a question. Does anyone have any plans to move to the new server Dawnbringer? If so, Horde or alliance? (I'm Horde, but still curious as I have alliance alts that could go there too).

I'm just *not* happy with Area 52, haven't been since I got there a year ago and it's getting worse and worse. Paid transfers are not an option for me or my husband, no exceptions. I know all of the pros and cons to transfers as well as transferring to brand new servers. I'm just curious if any of YOU are considering this transfer.

I have been a Shadow Priest over 116days /played time. That is a lost of face melting, and I have loved every bit of it. But after 3.0 it was never the same. If I wanted to be a DPS class I would have stayed with my hunter long ago. So last night after pulling off over 1600DPS as a 73 in BT (yes my crazy guild is still raiding cause it is fun) I said good bye to shadow and made the full on switch. Got new Glyphs regemed and enchanted my T-5/6 gear, 'cause even though it has the wrong set bonus least it has spirit and even turned my hair white. The one thing is I was a really good shadow priest I know my stuff and could tell you all the math off the top of my head. I credit this knowledge to all the great WoW sites on the web (this one included) I use WowWWiki and Elites Jerks on a religious bases but the one that help me the most was Shadow Priest.com it is a great community. So after my long rant the main question is, is there a community like Shadow Priest.com for holy priest? Time for me to start my level 80 education.

getting a little frazzled by the notion of xmas/sinterklaas shopping. For many years, the season meant shopping for buttongirl's family by and large, as that was who I spent the season with. Last year, that was out of the picture, and my holiday plans that year kind of were in a freefall drift, seeing many friends here and there, but not actually sharing the season with anyone in particular.

This year I feel a little more grounded again, with a different landscape of an intimate network, that it occurred to me I'd like to do this year's season right, but it also means rather new shopping patterns that I've not previously undertaken. I knew the type and style of gifts I would look for when it came to past christmases, not the same thing, but things with similar inspirations. It occurred to me recently that I really need to start innovating.

It's an interesting challenge.

I spent most of yesterday sleeping: I took three naps before work and left work early because I felt rotten. Then went to bed at 9:30 pm and slept straight till 7 am. I haven't been this tired since the Crazy Tired days of September. I tried to study yesterday but kept falling asleep instead. Perhaps I will have more energy today...

Going to my first phsyio session today. I hope I hope they can do something for this pain. I'm so tired of living with chronic pain. Pain, nausea, exhaustion. When will I ever finish these damn candidacies? I'm stuck in limbo and I hate it.

Someone else who is struggling with chronic pain (arthritis) is wee Sasha. She has pretty much given up walking; she can walk to her food bowl with difficulty (10 ft from her kitty basket) and she makes it to the cat box with a lay-down break half-way. But when she wants to be picked up on the couch she won't even walk over to the couch. She just cries from her basket and I have to go get her. Sometimes she falls getting out of her basket. Her front legs are good but her hind end is just toast.

I've upped her meds but they are a slow killer too... it's getting like the last days with Simon where there's no good choices left for treatment.

My luggage has arrived. Yay! I can stop wearing the same pair of pants. (I bought a pair of underwear, socks and a shirt yesterday.)

And, I've got internet access in my room. Someone loaned me a USB cellular modem, so I can go online from my room.

All that's left is to figure out how to make a call. Apparently I have to call the operator and have them put me through. *sigh* I'd far rather just dial myself, then if I don't get through, I haven't inconvenienced anyone else.

P.S. date stamps on these entries may be odd... I'm flipping my computer clock to/from EST/India time. I wish LJ would just do dates in GMT, and let everyone client-side convert if they want to.

My journal title has taken to changing every Tuesday with the new episode of Gossip Girl. The thing is, the most clever lines are always Blair lines. Always, every time.

I have a bit of a Tuesday night tradition. It's my night at home alone, as J goes out to quiz. I watch Gossip Girl and Chuck, do some tagging, chat online, and go to bed with my book usually just a few minutes before he gets home.

Today it got screwed up a bit as the S2 finale of Farscape led to the S3 premiere of Farscape. And I feel that this will soon be leading to even moar Farscape as ZOMGWTFBBQ. Now it's v.late and I will go to bed. I WILL.

My other shows were both awesome.

Also, thaursir is evil. I think I might be scarred now. That was revenge for the monkey/lion fic, wasn't it? And lookslikelove is, as always, a bastion of sanity in my life.

My first round of mail is making it to people's houses. YAY! There will be another round this week. And then christmas stuff starts going out. EEEEP!
